ROBERT J. FEINSTEIN

ROBERT J. FEINSTEIN is a graduate of Lafayette College (B.A. History 1978) and Boston University School of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 1981) and is admitted to practice in the State of New York. Mr. Feinstein is the managing partner of the New York office of Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones LLP, which he opened in 2001. He has had extensive experience representing debtors, creditors' committees, equity committees and acquirers, among others, in business reorganizations and related litigation. He has represented the debtors in the Chapter 11 cases of Penthouse Magazine publisher General Media, Inc., Dana Corporation, boxer Mike Tyson, Dice, Inc., Hvide Marine Inc., Venture Stores Inc. and Hexcel Corp., among others, and creditors' committees in the Chapter 11 cases of Circuit City, Flying J/Big West Oil, Brooke Corporation, Movie Gallery, Inc., Salander O'Reilly Galleries, Inc., Louis Pearlman/Trans Continential Airlines, Empire Beef, Foss Manufacturing, JHT Holdings, Jevic Transportation, Agway Inc., Irving Tanning, Pennsylvania Fashions Inc., Circle Fine Art, Inc. and Loews Cineplex Entertainment. He also has represented the N.W. Ayer & Co. advertising agency, Astechnologies Inc., and numerous other clients in out-of-court restructurings. Mr. Feinstein is an adjunct professor in the LL.M. in Bankruptcy programs at St. John's University School of Law and the associate editor of the Norton Journal of Bankruptcy Law & Practice. He frequently lectures and has authored numerous articles on bankruptcy topics, including Charitable Hospitals in Chapter 11, Annual Survey of Bankruptcy Law (1999) and LBO Litigation Financial Projections and the Chapter 11 Plan Process, 21 Seton Hall Law Review 599(1991), and is a regular contributor to the Norton Bankruptcy Law Advisor.
