ROBERT E. KAELIN

ROBERT E. KAELIN, Partner, Murtha Cullina LLP, Hartford, Connecticut. Mr. Kaelin concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and bankruptcy, representing both creditors and debtors in Chapter 11, 13 and 7 bankruptcy cases. He has represented numerous creditors' committees. Mr. Kaelin joined the firm in 1992 in the area of civil litigation and bankruptcy. He holds a B.A. from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and a J.D. degree from Duke University. Mr. Kaelin is a member of the Connecticut Bar and the District Courts for the Districts of Connecticut, Vermont and the Southern District of New York and is admitted to practice before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Kaelin has been admitted as visiting pro hac vice counsel in several bankruptcy proceedings in the District of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He is a member of the Litigation and Business Bankruptcy Sections of the American Bar Association. He is a member of the Litigation and Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Sections of the Connecticut Bar Association. Mr. Kaelin is currently serving as the Chair of the Bankruptcy Section. Mr. Kaelin is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and serves on the ABI Northeast Bankruptcy Conference Advisory Board. He is also a contributing editor to Norton Bankruptcy Law and Practice, 3d (Thomson-West) and a Faculty Member for the Norton Bankruptcy Litigation Institute I, Park City, Utah. He is a member of the Fairfield and Hartford County Bar Associations. Mr. Kaelin has written and lectured on a number of bankruptcy topics.
