Institute Faculty and Program
The programs for all Norton Institutes are designed to provide bankruptcy practitioners with in-depth review and analysis of current trends. The 2018 program features 2.5 hours on Recent Developments presented by Hon. Randolph Haines, former U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Arizona; 4 hours of Consumer Bankruptcy Law Issues presented by Hon. Keith M. Lundin, former U.S. Judge for Middle District of Tennessee and 4 hours on Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Law Issues presented by Hon. Leif Clark, former U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Texas. The faculty for the seminars are Contributing Editors with Norton Bankruptcy Law and Practice 3d (Thomson Reuters) and other Norton publications.
The registration fee for the Norton Institutes is $1,195 at Jackson, WY for three days. The Federal Government rate is $850 and the law clerk discount rate is $400. The fee includes continental breakfast and coffee breaks for all registrants. Upon registration, Norton Institute will send a confirmation and information on the hotel.
Each registrant of the Norton Institutes will receive a tote bag containing the lecture materials and a copy of the 2018 edition of the Norton Quick Reference Bankruptcy Code and Rules (Thomson Reuters).
Registrants will receive a refund if notice of cancellation is received before May 15, 2018. No other refunds will be made. A unique feature of all the Norton Institutes is that paid registrants who are unable to attend may apply their registration fee to any of the future Norton Institutes seminars within the next 12 months.
CLE Course Credit (14 – 18 Hours)
All prior Norton Institutes have received from every mandatory CLE state at least 14 (60 minute) hours including at least one hour of ethics for CLE credit.
